"As All Saints pupils make the transition to secondary school, we want them to be able to develop the skills and traits needed to lead successful, fulfilling, safe and happy lives, contributing positively to their communities and the wider world.
We want our children to be confident in forming and maintaining relationships with others, respecting all those they interact with.
We want our children to be able to take responsibility for their health and wellbeing and aim for them to be happy and confident in who they are as individuals."
As PSHE Subject Leader and an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher, Mrs Baker is passionate about promoting children's personal development, wellbeing, and emotional health from the very beginning of their educational journey. She firmly believes that Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED) provides the foundation upon which all future learning is built. When children feel safe, valued, confident, and emotionally secure, they are better able to engage with learning, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential. Her experience within EYFS provides her with a strong understanding of the importance of developing children's self-awareness, self-regulation, independence, resilience, and social skills from an early age. Mrs Baker is committed to ensuring that all pupils receive a high-quality, inclusive, and progressive PSHE education. She leads the development and implementation of a curriculum that equips children with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to navigate an ever-changing world.
