As All Saints pupils make the transition to secondary school, we want them to be able to be inspired and have a passion for learning about the past. Children will leave with a knowledge and understanding of historical events locally, nationally and internationally and how they have impacted on our lives today. They will develop questioning skills that enable them to use historical evidence as a source of information.
Miss Megan Rose is the History Subject Leader at All Saints Primary School and is dedicated to making History an engaging and inspiring subject for all pupils. She is passionate about helping children explore the significant people and events that have shaped our world and understand how the past continues to influence our lives today. Miss Rose believes that History develops curiosity, broadens children's understanding of different cultures and experiences and encourages them to think critically about the world around them. She is committed to helping pupils work like historians by using historical evidence to ask questions, investigate the past and form their own conclusions. Through exciting and memorable learning experiences, she aims to inspire a lifelong interest in History and encourage children to become inquisitive, reflective learners who enjoy discovering the past.
