What is DT?

D&T is a curriculum subject that teaches children about the design of a range of objects, how certain working parts are made and how to join, fix and use materials effectively. Children learn to assemble, disassemble, plan, construct and evaluate.

As All Saints pupils make the transition to secondary school, we want them to feel confident in their skills relating to designing, making and evaluating products. Children will leave with the skills of being resourceful and innovative, enterprising and imaginative. Through unique and exciting opportunities they will have the confidence to take risks in order to solve real life problems.
