We were very pleased to see that our efforts to create a happy learning environment were recognised by both Ofsted and parents.
“Parents were almost unanimous in their view that pupils are taught well and are safe and happy. One parent commented that her children skip into school happy and come out with a smile, full of chatter about their day and what they have been learning about. Pupils enjoy school and demonstrate high levels of engagement in lessons”. – Ofsted 2017
SIAMS Inspection Report
We are very proud of our status as OUTSTANDING and feel that this rightly reflects the school’s dedication to raising caring citizens of the future who want to do the right thing. The report points out that “Explicit Christian values permeate all aspects of school life ensuring pupils are loved, motivated and feel respected” – SIAMS 2015
What is SIAMS?
SIAMS stands for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. As an OUTSTANDING school we are inspected every five years. The school is inspected on three sections:
1 – The Christian Character of the school and meeting the needs of all learners.
2 – The impact of Collective Worship on the school community.
3 – Leadership and Management of the school as a church school.
The inspections are carried out by the Church of England, Diocesan Board of Education Inspectors.
